Very Cherry and Tropical Green Smoothie

Tropical Green Smoothie
Hi, friends! It’s almost winter and Christmas time, cold and snowy. No, really I’m just kidding its actually quite balmy and nice outside so being inside the house making holiday crafts, watch movies, baking cookies and all things that I grew up doing just isn’t happening this year. Don’t get me wrong I would rather sit outside on the porch and read a book or go on a bike ride with the children but its Christmas time all over again. I guess it’s just watching my children have a vastly different wintertime experience than how I experienced winter as a child is … well, bittersweet.

Since its not beginning to look a lot like Christmas I figured I might as well get some holiday magic into our smoothie jars. This kind of weather does not bum me out and truth be told a fruity and brightly colored smoothie is perfect for any day no matter what the forecast may be.

The Very Cherry and really berry smoothie is tart and sweet. The Tropical Green Smoothie is just that … full of tropical feels. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better. The children loved them both but favored the Tropical Green Smoothie. They are both dairy free, gluten free, sugar free, nut free and full of fiber.

The recipe for each smoothie is enough to fill 2, 12 ounce jars.
